I don't really think about how British I am, I suppose I sort of notice it more when I'm on holiday. When I was in Spain, people all thought I was Spanish, which is weird, then they ask me where I'm from and when I say Manchester they're all 'Oh Manchester United!'. It's funny that.

Who are the best characters on TV?
The best character has to be John Nettles from Midsummer Murders. He's been there from the beginning and it's always a pleasure turning on the TV to his face on a Sunday evening.

Who do you consider role models on TV?
I admire Caroline Quentin because she's achieved so much but managed to keep her feet on the ground. Her fame is at a level where she's well respected.

What are your favourite/most used websites?
I use MySpace to chat to friends and listen to music but I mainly just use the net for research purposes like Google.

Hotmail and MySpace

What role do those sites play in your life?
It doesn't take an important role id much prefer to text or talk

How has your use of the internet changed over time?
I've started to use the internet a lot more recently to talk to friends that have gone away because it's cheap. I've also started to shop on the net which I never used to. It's getting to the point where you can't avoid the internet. I've even set up an internet banking account!

I like Smooth FM and Xfm

Who is your favourite DJ/radio presenter?
I like Jonathon Ross on radio 2. He's really funny!!

I read Heat, Reveal. Now and Grazia from time to time

The Metro and M.E.N. The Mirror and the Sun are OK

Which brands do you value most and why?
I use Benefit make up its really good for your skin and I also wear Levis jeans. They both have high quality standards and do ranges that suit my needs.

I think that Radio 1 is pretty multi cultural because they offer different shows appealing to everybody's tastes and genres. Mobile phone brands are also multi cultural because they appeal to people all over world.
